I remember i was in class while my teacher was teaching and she hurried and ran inthe class room and turned on the tv and began telling us what had happened in New York and she was also ver hurt because half her family lived in New York. Her mother was down there and she had know way of getting down there to see what really went wrong down there. That day to every body was a areally sad day because half of everybody did not know what was really going on down there.
Kewanna, What i remember about it was we in the classroom and. the principal had come onto to the intercome talkikng about it. Then my teacher turned on the tv. We seen all those people just crying and yelling they had to go threw alot. I thought it was very sad but all the people will be remembered. After that we had an class discussion about it and how we felt.

September 11th... umm... i was at my aunts house in Cali... we were barely movin down here to Ga!!! we had the u-haul and everything... we had stopped to rest at my aunts house, and we turned on the news, and saw the twin towers falling!! =I it was CRAZY!! it doesnt feel like that long ago!! it feels like it was just yesterday... no joke!! This date is a horribly sad day... i remember i was sad and crying and I AINT HAVE NO ONE OVER THERE!!! lol. but it was just sad... **Michelle H**
well um i was in the 4th grade when all this happened...it was really sad bt i didnt know what was going on bt now its sad to hear what happened on that day (today)!!
I was in new york at school not too too far from were everything happened. I remember a real loud sound (explotion). I was terrifide, i didnt know what to do. It means nothing to me really just a terrifying day thats all.
I remember being in my 5th grade class and someone coming to the door telling my teacher to turn the T.V. on and she did, then we saw it , we really didn't know what was going on then my teacher was crying because her family worked in the pentagon, then once i understood i was upset because thats my home, and someone in my amily could have gotten hurt. That day was a devestating day, it scares me how you can be there one minute and be gone like that the next.New York is my home and that day my home was Terrorized.
the only thing that i remember is that it was my moms birthday and she was really upset about what happened. now she hardly celebrates her birthday any more. but me and my family tries to get her to have a good birthday. now when they show the footage on the t.v. me and my mom crys about it.
Before I moved down to GA, I was living in Bronx, New York. I lived in a 20 story building, on the 18th floor. If you look out my window, you can see the twin towers standing beside each other. I moved down to GA way before 9/11 happened and I was only 9. When 9/11 happened I was in the 4th grade at Brayant Elementary. I was called up to the office because my mom wanted to pick me up from school. I didn't know what was going on until my mom turned on the news and I saw the twin towers on fire. From then on I knew if I would ever go back to my old apartment in NY and look out the window, I'm not going to see those same buildings that use to stand tall.
